David was born and brought up in the funeral service.
Being the son of a funeral director, he lived at the funeral home until age 13, eventually moving across the street. He came to work full time at the Funeral Home in 1979 and subsequently received his diploma for Funeral Director and Embalmer. David, wife Sylvia and their daughter reside in Westville.
Art Eagles, grew up in the funeral business as well, with his father being the town funeral director. Art lived at the funeral home until age 12 and then moving to a seperate residence across the street. After graduating from Westville High School, he entered his studies for funeral directing and embalming and received his diplomas in 1978.

Gordie Chenell, son of Jimmy and Mary Chenell, has been a lifelong resident of Loch Broom. Graduating in 1998 from West Pictou District High, he decided to pursue a career as a Paramedic; graduating from Holland College, PE in 2002. Since then, Gordie has been employed with Emergency Health Services. Gordie has had a long time interest in the Funeral profession and in 2010 took the step of entering the Funeral and Allied Health Services apprenticeship program through the NSCC Kingstec Campus, Kentville. In June of 2013, Gordie graduated with his Funeral Director and Embalmers diploma. In July, he received his provincial Funeral Director’s license and is continuing with his apprenticeship to obtain his Embalmer’s license. Gordie presently lives in Westville, with his wife, Shawna.
